The Concept
Cabin charter is a sailing package suitable for people without or with little sailing skills, seeking to discover and enjoy live aboard. Solo travelers, couples, group of friends seeking of new experiences, socializing and a bit of adventure will enjoy this type of vacation. There are of course a lot of “believers” that cabin charter to sail again and again as they simply love it!
.
How it Works
Our quests can “buy” a single bed space in a cabin or a cabin with a double bed on board a skippered sailing yacht. As the typical cabin of a yacht is designed for two persons, singles booking a single bed should either share the double bed with another quest or book the cabin in total. Rarely, depending the layout of the boat, they may have a single bed in a double cabin in bunks. Toilets are also shared.
Our Yachts
Our fleet of Sailing boats and Catamarans is annually inspected and certified by the Hellenic Register of Shipping, following strictly the highest standards of safety and comfort

Cabin Charter – FAQs
All you need to know
Cabin charter is a nice way to experience life at sea, explore new landscapes, beaches and bays non accessible from the land, socialize and make new friends. But it is not for everyone as you have to
consider how well you enjoy the company of other people aboard a yacht with smaller spaces than a gullet or typical cruise ship.
Our shared cabin charter packages attract people at 20s or 30s and more or less look for the same travel experience as you.
Your cabin charter lasts for 7 days and six nights. You check in the boat on Saturday around 17:00 pm. You will spend your first time aboard the boat in the marina. Sailing starts on Sunday morning. The boat will return to base on Friday around 16:00 pm and final check out will be at 17:00 pm.
As you charter a cabin and not a yacht in total, it is not possible to inform you about the type of yacht at the moment of embarkation. This will depend on the number of the crew members that finally be aboard and will be known 2-3 weeks before embarkation.
We highly suggest to bring as less as possible things with you, as you have to store your personal belongings in the limited space of your cabin. Avoid hard cases as you will not find a proper place to store them. Better travel with a soft collapsible bag. Shower towels, linen, snorkeling equipment will be provided by us, you need to bring only a beach towel.
A Wi-Fi is not available on board. Wi-Fi on the shore will be available across all of our destinations at the local restaurants and bars during your trip. You can also rent one for 50 euro, you can apply for this during your reservation.
There will be 220 European sockets to charge devices when shore power available and 12V usb sockets to use when sailing.
Your Skipper will be in charge and also your leader, your “point of information”. All our skippers are professional with excellent knowledge of the area.
You are welcome to help the skipper, he is going to teach you some basics and answer your questions but keep in mind that this is not a training trip!
Safety is a priority and we may need to moderate the itinerary in case of strong winds. Although Saronic is a protected area and such changes are rarely needed.
We have designed the itinerary in a way that a fast access to medical services is possible. There are medical stations at all destination ports and a fast transfer to a hospital in Athens is also possible.
You have to carry out your own travel insurance, in fact this will be a term in your contract. You sailing route will stay within a distance of 6 nautical miles from a land to meet the requirements of some travel insurance policies but you have to check it with your provider.

Provisioning should be organized by the crew, so a pot should be made by all quests to pay the goods. Your skipper will help you with this, proposing a basic list with items.
You also have to leave a refundable deposit of 500 euro per personfor the good use of the boat and will be returned to you during check out if in cash. If a MasterCard or a Visa card is used, then we will cancel
the preauthorization taken during check in but some working days are required until your margin is released.
A damage will be equally shared among all quests, unless a somebody takes over full responsibility of a damage and pay it in total.
You can buy a damage waiver for 100 euro, but this does not cover a blocked toilet. So remember: Not through you, not in the loo!
A 10% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. A 40% of the rate should be paid 30 days after the reservation and balance payment should be made 30 days prior to embarkation.
Additional activities are not included in the rate. There are suggested activities that you may decide to follow at your own cost, your skipper will inform you about.
